- As Director of Education for EMPGI, Chris has been involved in educational research, instructional design, and content development for over 12 years. He has conducted extensive research into how ICT can enhance education and extend learning in new ways and across different learning styles. Drawing upon his research and expertise, he has worked closely with teachers and educationalists throughout the world to establish progressive educational initiatives and to understand how international print and digital content can be adapted to local needs. He has helped localise many of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's digital products for private and government schools and learning centres in China, the Middle East, and India.
- Having been involved in digital content development since the 90's, Chris is now considered a leading authority in the use of technology for enhancing education. In his current role in EMPGI, he oversees the quality of all instructional and product design for the international arena, and speaks frequently at major conferences about the challenges and prospects of 21st century education. He continues to conduct research into the major advances in ICT and education, and he plays a central role in ensuring that Houghton Mifflin Harcourt digital products offer the best educational choices for students and teachers in all parts of the world.
